Ajax in top 20 club ranking

In the latest club team ranking, Ajax is back at number 20. A nice confirmation that we are going in the right direction to structurally reconnect with the European top.

While 2.5 years ago the Europa League final was reached and last year the Champions League semi-finals, the connection seems to be getting closer. Especially if you look at the current performance, with 2 won games we are well ahead in the group with Chelsea and Valencia, among others.

Both teams are also high in the club ranking. Anyone going through the list will see many familiar clubs from last season, all of whom have had to acknowledge their superior in our Ajax. Real Madrid is at the top of the list and both Bayern Munich and Juventus have a place in the top 5.

The third group match is scheduled for next week. At home against Chelsea, who is currently number 14 on the list, may travel to a packed arena!
