My name is Jopie Verstegen and I have been a loyal Ajax fan for 62 years. I took care of my terminally ill wife for 17 years, 24/7. Recently, disaster struck me. I have been diagnosed with lung cancer, with metastases to the brain. The end is near for me,
I would still love to receive postcards and letters from you, the real AJAX fans.
All the mail I receive will be displayed in the church where my farewell will be arranged.
I already have several AJAX flags that will be hung in the church and on my coffin, but a lot of mail that I can hang everywhere in the church would be a great wish for me.
So dear Ajax fans, would you grant me this last wish?
