From the Spanish sun to The Hague
Just 4 days ago, we were celebrating in a T-shirt in the middle of the night, but now we had to watch our beloved Ajax from behind the TV.
After 10 minutes, it was a hit: the visibly irritated Ziyech attacked and freed Klaas Jan for the keeper. 0-1, a great goal and hopefully everyone back on edge.
A few minutes later, the Hague fans also entered the stands. In protest against the absence of visiting supporters, the Hague residents seemed to want to make a good statement. This was done by waiting outside the section for 12 minutes.
That the statement could quickly be thrown in the trash became a fact within 1 minute. Women, mothers, and children of the players were repeatedly the target of chants. Maybe it's time this match is played without a home crowd.
In the first half, where chance after chance was missed, no further goals were scored. The second half was a very long, sloppy half. Late in the second half, the score became 0-2, thanks to the substituted Neres.
A good result, the rest you should just quickly forget. After a great effort midweek, 3 points away on artificial turf in The Hague is simply good.
