3 points, Ten Hag interview, fireworks and Chelsea

Less than fifteen minutes after the match, the ruthless interview with Erik Ten Hag was aired. Little did he know that the worst match of this season would leave a very pleasant aftertaste.

“I saw eleven prima donnas on the field. The attitude was not good, neither was the mentality. No energy either. We wanted to do it at 80 percent, and that’s not possible.”

“The first 25 minutes of the second half were good. After that 1-0, we should have killed the game. Then it still becomes 1-1, but we did have the mentality to pull this game over the line.”

There's no need to emphasize that it wasn't good. Winning bad games has been a trend in recent years. You become champion against the small teams, and this was one of them.

The only spectacle came from the stands and outside. With a very clear statement, the boys made it known that the absurd punishment goes too far. The UEFA Mafia once again shows that they have their own rules.

3 European matches next week in London, 3 visiting teams who are all not allowed to bring away fans. Coincidence? Anyone who looks at the earlier positions of the local government knows better. We were already not wanted, already cut short, and now finally completely refused.

Later this week, it will become clear what justification the corrupt officials have written down. With or without a ticket, many will still make the booked trip.

First, it's our turn at home on Wednesday. Chelsea is visiting, and a win almost certainly means we are guaranteed to survive in Europe. It will not be an easy match and definitely needs to be better than against RKC.

In a roaring arena, we kick off early, on our way to another historic evening in the Champions League. Make sure you are on time; the timing and the expected crowds around evening rush hour do not promise much good. It will be chilly outside, but inside we will keep warm for 90 minutes by standing behind our beloved Ajax.

See you Wednesday!
