Excellent Football clinic with a capital E!

It has been a long time since a Dutch club was taught such a lesson by an opponent in 90 minutes. In the Johan Cruijff Arena, Ajax showed no mercy to their opponent.

After a tough midweek schedule, the match against the boys from Utrecht was on the agenda. The players had undoubtedly seen the European match and were visibly impressed by the imposing Ajax.

After 40 minutes of play, the score was 3-0, all players had been caught in the Amsterdam dominance's web, and two secret requests for a jersey had already been made.

After halftime, the pace slowed down, allowing the visitors to catch their breath. A few accelerations immediately led to chances. A well-executed attack resulted in a 4-0 score after just over an hour of play. 

It was as if both teams had had enough. With a few substitutions for players who had shown for some time that they could handle the level, the message to the team was clear. Enough is enough, the clinic was Excellent with a capital E.
