It's almost time for the Champions League semi-final

It's almost here, Ajax and Tottenham Hotspur will determine on Wednesday evening who qualifies for the Champions League final. The long wait is almost over and we are ready for it. Ajax starts in the Johan Cruijff Arena with a 0-1 lead. With a win or a draw, the final place is a fact.

Never before has a match been played in the arena where so much is at stake as this Wednesday. The Champions League semi-final, a unique moment. A moment where we all have to create a big chaos in the stands for 90 minutes.

There is no lack of confidence, last Sunday the first prize of the season was won with playful ease. In the cup final in the "bathtub", it was 0-4 against Willem II, where the match was actually already decided after just over half an hour of play.

For the Londoners, things are a bit different with confidence. After the defeat at home against Ajax, they also lost in the league. In a match with visibly a lot of frustration for the Londoners (2 red cards), they lost 1-0 just before time. Despite the loss, the club still qualified for participation in next season's Champions League final tournament.

At Ajax, both our full-backs are not sharp; in the first leg, Nico and Joel both received a yellow card. Fortunately, UEFA has adjusted the rules and a new yellow card does not mean a suspension for the final.

Probable Ajax lineup: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Blind, Tagliafico; Schöne, De Jong, Van de Beek; Ziyech, Tadic, Neres.

At Tottenham, there is much uncertainty about the players, who is fit and who will start. Our attention goes to Jan Vertonghen, home for a while on Wednesday, but possibly unable to play. Whether and who else plays for the Londoners, we believe it will be fine. The task is clear, give everything for our club from Amsterdam for 90 minutes.

We are ready for it, have been walking around with a big grin on our faces for a few weeks now and are looking forward to the return leg in the semi-final.
